PASAS 2003

The new passport is designed to comply with the EU requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommendations. The passport contains 32 numbered pages plus a polycarbonate personal identification page with data, photo and signature engraved by laser engravers.

Passport contains texts in the Lithuanian, English and French languages.
 

  • Since 1 January, 2015 addition to the first inside page of Passport of the Republic of Lithuania printed passport holder nationality.
  • 29 June, 2009 marks the beginning of electronic personalisation of biometric personal data into the Passports of the Republic of Lithuania addition electronic recording - fingerprints.
  • 2 January 2008 marks the beginning of electronic personalisation of the Passports of the Republic of Lithuania
  • 28 August, 2006 marks the beginning of electronic personalisation of biometric personal data into the Passports of the Republic of Lithuania and the Service Passports of the Republic of Lithuania
  • Passport holders’ surname, given name and photo are printed on the first inside page of Passport of the Republic of Lithuania issued since 1 November, 2005
  • 2 January 2003 marks the beginning personalisation of the new Passports of the Republic of Lithuania

Pasas

Passport is the document issued to citizens of the Republic of Lithuania, confirming personal identity and is issued for going abroad.

Passport is issued for the Lithuanian citizens of any age by request and is issued for 10-year term for persons over 18 and for 5-year term for persons under 18.

Passport can be issued to citizens of the Republic of Lithuania constantly living abroad.
