Protection of personal data
Evaldas Lukošiūnas has been appointed Data Protection Officer of the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. The main duty of the Data Protection Officer of the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania is to create conditions for compliance with the 2016 April 27 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation). elements of the data protection regulation, such as the principles of data processing, the rights of data subjects, customized and standardized data protection, as well as the recording of data processing activities, the security of data processing and the reporting of data breaches.
Individuals (data subjects) may contact the Data Protection Officer on any matter relating to the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. The Data Protection Officer shall ensure the secrecy or confidentiality of the performance of his or her tasks, in compliance with European Union or Member State law.
