Protection of personal data

UAB "Veritas bona" (Ltd.) (304628436) performs the functions of a data protection officer at the Center for Issuing Personal Documents under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.

The main duty of the data protection officer of the Personal Documents Issuance Center at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania is to enable compliance with the 2016 April 27 Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), promoting a data protection culture at the Center and helping to implement the essential provisions of the general requirements of the Data Protection Regulation.

Individuals (data subjects) may contact the data protection officer on all issues related to the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. The data protection officer undertakes to ensure secrecy and confidentiality related to the performance of his tasks, in compliance with the law of the European Union or a member state.
